A man older than 51 years old needs 2,200 to 2,400 calories. 4 to 18 year old girls need 1,400 to 2,000 calories. 19 to 50 year old women need 2,000 to 2,200 calories. A woman older than 51 years old needs 1,800 calories.
  • Active group consists of those whose lifestyles, including the daily physical activities, are equivalent to over 3 miles walking each day at three or four mph. 2 to 3 year old children need 1,000 to 1,400 calories. 4 to 18 year old boys need 1,600 to 3,200 calories. 19 to 50 year old men need 2,800 to 3,000 calories. A man older than 51 years old needs 2,400 to 2,800 calories. 4 to 18 year old girls need 1,400 to 2,400 calories. 19 to 50 year old women need 2,200 to 2,400 calories. A woman older than 51 years old needs 2,000 to 2,200 calories.
